B671NA “COOL BLUE WITH ROSES”

$585.00

I think of these cool colors in summer, when the weather arrives with hot days, hot nights and a faint memory of balmy spring winds. The handsome focal charm in this bracelet is an old one, hand made, elegant and graceful with an interesting richly colored blue turquoise stone and curving sterling silver embellishments in the setting.

The Navajo artist who made it gave us only one round silver raindrop, and on the back he left no trace of himself, only a bit of aged tarnish. This is typical of Navajo charms made back in the day, the ’30s and 40s, and they are prized for their genuine artistry.

This bracelet has a combination of Campitos turquoise in the band and slices, Lapis Lazuly in the charms and slices, and volcanic Kyanite stones just for a little softer blue contrast. The two roses flanking the focal charm are sterling silver with little Navajo bench made silver bead dangles. There are 4 vintage turquoise and sterling charms with various stampings and embellishments, unmarked, and 2 elegant Lapis charms with beautifully scrolled settings and one of these is marked “925, Mexico”.

I’ve added some critters, 2 lizards, a Kokopelli playing his flute, a Thunderbird, and then 2 concho style charms and 2 End of Day charms. All are sterling silver. The 2 large beads in the band are also sterling silver, as is the toggle clasp of this cool 7″ bracelet.
