B672NA “Navajo Phoenix”

$584.00

This bracelet is very full and a bit exotic, with its large sterling focal charm, a Phoenix bird rising yet again according to legend and displaying hand etched feathers on its wings. Its tail is spread, its expression is benign and it flaunts an orange spiny oyster breast cabochon stone set in a simple bezel. It is signed but the signature is tiny. I have added a bundle of beads to the back, including some bench made Navajo silver beads, and this bundle enhances the back of the bracelet when it turns on your wrist. The focal charm is flanked by 2 sterling feathers and the additional charms include 2 malachite charms set in elegant stamped sterling settings. I haven’t disturbed the patina on the back of the sterling charms. There are also concho charms with little snake eye turquoise stones, 3 spiny oyster sterling charms and 1 unusual mother of pearl charm hand inlaid with bits of spiny oyster. 10 green turquoise nuggets complete the charms, each of these nuggets adorned with sterling bead caps and bench made sterling beads. The band is made with natural pectin shell, very durable and displaying lovely soft colors and rippled edges that compliment the charms. The two large center beads are sterling silver with sterling caps. This bracelet is about 8″, and I have really enjoyed making it because the colors just came together and are so soft and elegant. Enjoy!
