B702NA “End of Day II”

$485.00

This is a bold bracelet with a fine Navajo old/vintage focal charm that brings memories to the collector of the 1940s when such charms were sometimes sold by the roadside. It is unmarked and has a closed hook on the back and a great, somewhat primitive scalloped edging around the fine turquoise stone. 2 Sterling feathers flank this charm, then come 2 vintage sterling charms, 1 with graceful feathers, a small orange spiny oyster stone and a lovely turquoise stone, and the other has the figure of an Indian on horseback holding his spear and bowed with weariness, hence the image, END OF DAY. This charm also has a coral stone and a small turquoise stone with a few silver raindrop dots and a decorative edging. Then there are those stalwart Kachinas, very stern and familiar. Are they Navajo? Are they Hopi? Last come patterned vintage concho charms with turquoise stones and little red dangles, and then 4 turquoise slices at the back. The two large sterling beads above the focal charm are patterned Navajo bench made beads made by hand and the band of this 6.75″ bracelet is natural Compitos boulder turquoise. The large clasp is an elegant sterling concho, so pretty, with a great look of our wonderful American west.
