B713NA “Blue Day II”

$546.00

This bracelet has soft, lovely blue colors enhanced by the fine old Navajo focal charm, Peruvian opals, aquamarine and druzy agate nugget charms. The focal charm has a lovely blue turquoise stone set in sterling saw tooth bezel and an elaborate scalloped sterling setting fashioned in the old way, probably the 1920s or so. There is a little sterling blossom at the top of the charm, which hangs about 1.5″ from the bracelet band. I’ve added a small sterling naja charm to the back of this charm just for interest. 2 large Peruvian opals with sterling bead caps flank the focal charm in the bracelet band. 2 sterling flowered feathers hang on either side of the focal charm, then 2 charming sterling girls with delicately etched faces and clothing. Her hands are folded, she may be singing (?). Then come 2 larger vintage concho style charms with nice turquoise stones and nicely patterned designs, then 2 sterling Kokopelli charms wherein he is playing his flute to tempt all the ladies, because he’s such a rascal in Native cultures. Last are 2 old dream-catcher charms each with 3 dangling feathers and tiny turquoise stones. The band of this 8.25″ bracelet is a combination of Peruvian opal, aquamarine roundels and druzy agate, a stone I have not used before, but I like its soft look, its varying colors and the druzy affect of areas where the center of the stone is seen. I’ve made some of these interesting stones into nugget charms with old sterling bench made sterling Navajo beads, and added 4 turquoise nugget charms also with the bench made beads. The clasp is sterling with a feather toggle bar.
