B588NA “LONG AGO” – With Amber

$575.00

Long ago we had many wonderful exotic animals that are now extinct. Not so the robust walrus! This bracelet features 2 rare square charms of fossilized walrus tusks, from those robust critters that lived 1000+ years ago. The Arctic natives legally harvest both fossilized walrus tusks and fossilized mammoth ivory from the banks of rivers when the rivers are low and the treasures are often exposed. This is an important resource for the natives and I am grateful for their efforts! This bracelet has a number of green and green-blue turquoise charms plus two Baltic amber charms in nice sterling bezel settings. There are two vintage Native American charms with green turquoise stones and two each sterling feathers. This charm is signed “CM”. Next are two Wild Horse stone charms, one squarish old sterling charm with a beautiful blue-green stone and an elaborate sterling setting, a triangular turquoise charm with a detailed sterling setting which includes raindrops and small sun shapes. This charm is signed by “M Spencer” . Not the least of this bracelet is the handsome triangular focal charm with a beautiful green turquoise stone showing a faint brown matrix. The graceful setting for this charm includes rope, scallop and one fine leaf. It is signed on the back with the initials “DCC”. There are a number of natural green turquoise nugget charms with vermeil beads, which combine nicely with the walrus charms. The band of this bracelet has two sterling beads flanking the focal charm and finished with green turquoise discs and sterling spacers. I’ve added a little bundle of beads at the back of the focal for added interest when you turn your wrist. The bracelet is 7″ to 7.5″ and the toggle clasp is sterling. This bracelet would adapt easily into a necklace, just ask.
