N1377 “KACHINA”

$301.00

This 18″ necklace gives you two handsome, finely crafted sterling Kachina figures, two fat sterling feathers and two old hand stamped Navajo concho charms. The focal charm is a vintage Navajo beauty, with both beautiful mine turquoise and Mediterranean coral with sterling leaves on either that seem to embrace the turquoise stone. It is unsigned and probably dates from the 1930s when few such items were signed. The basic band of the necklace is Apple Coral and turquoise and above this colorful strand is a band of glossy natural freshwater pearls, sometimes called rosebud pearls, and each one is characteristically irregular and gives the necklace a pretty distinction. The chain is sterling silver, as is the toggle clasp.
