$295.00

This simple and elegant sterling necklace is vintage Navajo, unusual in that it consists of many, many sterling bead strands, 12 and counting, from the classic tiny round Navajo pearls in various sizes to numerous strands of liquid silver all woven together with natural patina to make a truly lovely textured and interesting necklace. I have added a fine large hand carved jasper butterfly by Dan Dodson, the well known Santa Fe designer, and it has found its home here on this silver necklace, it just belongs. It is backed with sterling silver showing Dan’s name and marked sterling, and there is a fine beaded trim all around the butterfly and then simple sterling in the butterfly’s antenna and in the bail. This necklace is 16″. A simple extension would be easy to add for a little more length.
