B616NA “Fiesta”

Color and elegance define this bracelet! Its 7.5″ band is made of rich coral beads with two sterling center beads. The focal charm, one of my favorites, is an old hand made sterling concho, black with tarnish when I found it but bright and shiny with diligent polishing. The turquoise stone is an irregular shape surrounded with a tiny rope bezel and a stamped setting. Flanking this charm are two elegant  sterling roses, each with Castle Dome turquoise dangles. Next come two large and lovely Navajo turquoise heart charms with red and black smaller stones in hand made and stamped sterling settings. Really special!  I’ve added four concho style sterling hand made charms, each with little turquoise stones and coral dangles, and four vintage and contemporary Navajo charms, enhanced by twelve turquoise nugget charms with little sterling beads. The toggle clasp is sterling silver. This bracelet is easily adapted to a 16″ necklace with the addition of a pretty sterling chain if you choose.

Necklaces seem to make a statement. We wear them to identify ourselves, to display how we feel, who we are, and we have so many choices! Just enjoy!

Charm bracelets speak to us with all kinds of beauty and memories. Happily, they can be almost anything, items from your own collection or elegant new items with elegant colors and a new sense of adventure. They can come to you from far away craftsmen in distant countries, or from the jewelry bench of a talented Native American silversmith. They can be worn on your wrist to remind you of a special moment, or they can often be worn as a necklace to compliment your smile. The simple addition of a sterling silver chain extension gives you the freedom to choose. This personal freedom which special jewelry gives us comes from the ancient beginnings of mankind in simple clay effigy figures and wonderful paintings on cave walls, to what we have with us today.
