B686NA “Rainbow Kachinas”
This richly colored bracelet combines spiny oyster shell, natural pectin shell and turquoise with a bit of red coral and lots of sterling silver. The elegant focal charm is by D. Dodson, a well known Santa Fe designer. It features spiny oyster and turquoise and sets the tone for the rest of the charms in this very full bracelet. 2 long sterling silver feathers flank the focal charm, then come 2 sterling concho charms nicely patterned with coral stones and little dangles, next come 2 finely made Kachina charms with little snake eye turquoise stones, I believe these are Zuni-made and very rare. Next are 2 spiny oyster charms and then 2 vintage Navajo charms each signed and with a bit of patina showing their age. The band of this bracelet is a combination of sterling saucer beads, Pectin shell, spiny oyster and natural turquoise, and the nugget charms are faceted amethyst and turquoise. The toggle clasp is sterling silver, strong and easy to use, and this bracelet has a wearable length of about 8″.
