B712NA – Opal Forest
This is a rich 7.8″ bracelet with a number of features that made it hard to name. The vintage focal charm is a lovely mellow, soft blue green turquoise set in a nicely detailed sterling silver frame with little loops and rope details. It is hand made Navajo in origin, probably dating to the ’80s and it is mounted on a bracelet band that has 2 large patterned sterling beads, 4 ocean jasper charms and 6 natural green Peruvian opals combined with natural chrysoprase rondelles, a beautiful combination of colors and textures, hence the name Opal Forest! The focal charm hangs about 1.5″ from the band and is unmarked so I have added a little bundle of beads to the back for interest. This focal charm is flanked by 2 long sterling feathers, then 2 old sterling concho charms with tiny turquoise stones and dangles, then 2 oval sterling charms with mellow turquoise and a well designed setting. Then come 2 hand made vintage sterling ladies in prettily patterned dresses, perhaps out for a stroll in the Opal Forest? Lastly there are 2 more sterling concho charms with tiny turquoise dangles and a clasp that is a simple sterling toggle clasp.
