This Southwest 17″ necklace features a fine handmade Navajo pendant with an elaborate sterling scroll setting, a simple sterling bezel and a lovely green turquoise stone with a bit of soft tan matrix. This beautiful pendant is unmarked and hangs about 1 3/4″ from the necklace band. It is held in place with 2 large sterling bead caps, as are the 2 rare, old Hubei turquoise barrel beads, each natural, hand cut and shaped and each showing patterns of the green turquoise and tan matrix in the pendant. Smaller Hubei turquoise and silver finishes this necklace and I have added a simple oxidized sterling chain closure with a sterling hook clasp. The chain offers less bulk at the back of your neck and just adds to the elegant simplicity of this unusual necklace.
