Twenty finely hand carved Zuni bone fetish animals, old and very individual in their forms, grace this elegant 30” necklace. You will see little foxes, fish, turtles, coyotes and even frogs, all traditional forms each representing a spiritual belief of the Native American people. All have little black eyes, soft white and mellow beige body color and they too came from an old mid-20th collection. The large square hollow sterling beads are Navajo patterned beads, all are bench made by hand and the patterns may represent traditional sun and hill deigns, or perhaps clouds, hard to say. The round sterling beads are also hand bench made and I have finished the necklace with simple bone beads. This necklace is light in wearable weight and easy to wear.
